I'm a Principal Optical Scientist at Aeva, where I work on the design and development of next generation coherent LiDAR architectures. Before Aeva, I was at Apple, where I worked as a Laser Systems Instrumentation Design Scientist on several Apple products including iPhone Xs, & iPad Pro. I received my Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at Boston University, where my research in the Optical Characterization and Nanophotonics Laboratory (OCN) focused on physical modeling and development of high-resolution optical imaging systems for multiplexed nanoparticle detection and characterization. I also hold an M.S degree in Electrical Engineering from Boston University and a B.S degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University. I studied my junior year at University of California, San Diego, at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, via Education Abroad Program. I also held research intern positions at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL) and Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology (HST). Please see my CV for detailed information.
